    What is it?

    The Acquisition IFTU teaches the fundamentals of Intelligence Support to Acquisition (ISTA) activities within the Department of Defense (DOD).

    Who is it for?

    Our primary audience is professionals assigned within Air Force Materiel Command's (AFMC) Materiel Intelligence Enterprise (MIE), however this course is available to any professional assigned to the U.S. Government on a space available basis.

    Where does it happen?

    The Acquisition IFTU is provided currently only offered in-person at Wright-Patterson AFB (Dayton, Ohio). Online options are currently being explored, but not offered. If you wish to have an online option, please let us know, so we can provide justification.

    How does it work?

    Acquisition IFTU is a formal course. Prospecting students will go through their normal administrative process for formal training in order to request attendance.

    In-person at Wright-Patterson AFB

    The Acquisition IFTU is facilitated at the Air Force Institute of Technology (AFIT), located on Area B of Wright-Patterson AFB. Each class is limited to 20 students. This is currently the only learning option available to AFMC students.

    Mobile Training Team (MTT)

    For organizations that require in-person training for more than 10 students at a time. We'll send four instructors to an agreed upon location. Travel expenses for four instructors are paid for by the requesting organization.
